Vayo was founded by Maxim. His path into systematic investing began with systems thinking at Andersen Consulting and was shaped by twelve years at Google leading product partnerships across Europe and APAC — work that demanded clear evaluation of complex, partially observable systems under commercial constraint. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
He has spent roughly eight years studying markets and four years trading live capital systematically. The cross-disciplinary background — operator, negotiator, quantitatively literate — is treated here as a feature rather than a hedge against being a "pure" quant.
Firm structure
Vayo is the systematic asset management brand of Teyo Labs GmbH, a Swiss company headquartered in Pfäffikon SZ. Teyo Labs is the parent entity and the home of the firm's research and engineering function.
Operational framework
The current product — the Vayo Multi-Strategy AMC — is operated together with Onvest AG, a Swiss-based independent asset manager regulated by FINControl Suisse and supervised in accordance with Swiss financial market regulation. Teyo Labs serves as Strategy Advisor; Onvest acts as Strategy Manager, responsible for portfolio management and execution oversight. Issuance is provided by Smart Edge PCC Limited.
