Principal
Vayo Capital was founded by Maxim Edelman. His path into systematic investing began with systems thinking at Andersen Consulting and continued through more than a decade across Google, Yahoo and startups — environments that demanded clear evaluation of complex, partially observable systems under commercial constraint. He also previously ran a financial investment boutique. Maxim holds an MBA from Stanford University.
The move toward systematic investing took shape over more than a decade of study and was formalised into Vayo Capital, where proprietary live capital has been traded systematically since 2022. The cross-disciplinary background — operator, technologist, prior asset manager — gives the firm a more grounded perspective than a pure-quant operation.

Vayo Capital is the systematic strategy development brand of Teyo Labs GmbH, a Swiss company headquartered in Pfäffikon SZ. Teyo Labs is the parent entity and the home of the firm's research and engineering function.
